 4 Willis Place Bridge- Crossing the North River on Foundry Village Road. Just below the dam that powered the Upper Griswold Mills. Lost in the ‘38 hurricane.

Above :    2365_027   a 1907 postcard .... ???? .. perhaps 5a , the bridge to Adamsville Road. ??  ================================================================== Is this in Colrain ???  CHS# 1415-1 ..... ===================     NO this is Shelburne... and, the typed note on top may be wrong.  A March 19, 1936 Recorder news story on the flood states "the old covered bridge over North river at the Four Mile Square road was burned after working loose from its moorings .... to prevent damage to the bridge of flowers.."
